Ayres Automotive was first established in Gippsland during the early 1950s by Jim Ayres, the grandfather of current owner, Billy Ayres. It was then carried on by Billy’s father, Kevin, and finally taken over by Billy himself in 2006.
Established during an era when mechanics were regarded as gentlemen, Ayres Automotive has remained true to these values, priding itself on providing good old-fashioned, honest service and quality workmanship.

From the days when Jim and Kevin Ayres graced the floors of our workshop, vehicle technologies have undergone significant evolution, as have the demands and driving conditions that we encounter.
